Editing opening

During Todays session I began to editing the opening for our trailer. I wanted to have an establishing shot of the area so the audience could get an idea about the setting and where the film is set. When editing this section I realised that the shots we had taken had too much dialogue within each shot making our trailer to be more like a short film rather than the trailer we want it to be. Having a lot of dialogue wouldn't engage our audience at all as we would be telling the whole story which we don't want.

With this in mind I suggested that we retake the footage but only with the killings as there will only be screaming and shouting within each shot, rather than having a lot of dialogue.
