Filming Session 1 behind the scenes

Today we went to get some footage for our trailer so we could begin to edit our trailer as soon as possible. We started off by filming the opening of our trailer so we made sure that we were in a lighter area as the beginning starts off in a positive way.

Our filming process went well, in our group we worked well as a team and communicated well with each other. I decided to take the role of the Director as I have had previous experience being behind the camera and know the different shot types and angels that we would need to film in so thought it would be appropriate that I start off the filming process.
I felt that we were all organised and had planned everything properly and knew what location we were going to film in. However our time-keeping wasn't good as we left our first location late which then left us with a limited amount of time to film in the second location but because we worked as a team we managed to film all of the footage that we would need for the opening of our trailer.

Today we were trying to introduce the protagonist of our narrative, showing her at the peak point of her popularity, introducing her character, revealing her biter personality and showing how she craves popularity. We used the dialogue in this section to show how important she is in her old school, so that went the time comes we can show her the transformation of her in her new school.

I believe that the footage we took outside we will be able to use because the lighting isn't grainy, but the lighting inside kept changing due to the camera focus. 

For the next filming session I think we need to re-film the in-door section and then move onto getting footage for our middle section and our killings so that we are still keeping our filming process within the timeframe that we have been given and can begin to edit our trailer.
